The "Beast" pepper is hybrid of the Carolina Reaper and Chocolate Nagabrain peppers, created by Brian Seal in the USA. It is known for its gnarly, bumpy, red fruits and extremely high heat, with a Scoville rating of 1 to 1.5 million SHU. The Beast pepper has a complex, fruity, and citrus-like flavor, but its intense heat makes it best suited for sauces and cooking rather than eating raw.  
Origin and Creation 
  • Parentage: A cross between the Carolina Reaper and the Chocolate Nagabrain.
  • Creator: Developed by Brian Seal in the USA.
Appearance
  • Pods: Described as gnarly, bumpy, and wicked-looking, with thick walls. 
  • Color: Vibrant red when fully ripe. 
  • Size: Pods can be fairly large, around 3 inches long and 2 inches wide. 
Flavor Profile
  • Heat:
    Incredibly hot, comparable to the Carolina Reaper, with a quick-ramping intensity that focuses on the tongue and back of the throat. 
  • Flavor:
    A complex mix of fruity, citrus, and smoky undertones, with a flavor that shines through the intense burn. 

These seeds were harvested from plants grown in a controlled environment and isolation to preserve genetics.
