The Scotch Bonnet is a staple of Caribbean cooking, and the Chocolate version adds a rich, deep twist. These wrinkled, lantern-shaped pods ripen to a beautiful dark brown and bring the heat that Scotch Bonnets are famous for, plus an earthier, more complex flavor than the standard varieties.
Not as extreme as our superhots, but don't sleep on this one. It still packs serious punch and the flavor is perfect for jerk seasoning, Caribbean sauces, salsas, and anything where you want authentic island heat.
