All the heat of a Carolina Reaper in a bright, vibrant yellow. The California Reaper Yellow has the same wrinkled texture, scorpion-like tail, and extreme heat as the original red, but the yellow color brings a more citrusy-sweet, fruity flavor profile that's different from its red cousin.
Pods ripen from green to bright yellow and typically grow 1.5 to 2.5 inches long. The heat is intense and can affect the nose, throat, and chest, though some growers report it dissipates a bit faster than other superhots. Still absolutely brutal.
