Another gorgeous Brazilian heirloom. The Fidalgo Roxa is a rare variety with small, lantern-shaped pods that ripen from dark blackish-purple to pink and peach with purple overtones. The plants are compact and bushy with purple-tinged foliage and stems. Pure eye candy.
The flavor is sweet and fruity with lemony notes and a mild to moderate heat that makes it perfect for fresh salsas, sauces, jams, and everyday cooking. Great in containers and small spaces because of the compact plant size.
- Heat Level: 10,000 - 60,000 SHU / Mild to Medium
- Flavor Profile: Sweet, fruity, lemony with floral notes
- Days to Maturity: 90-120 days from transplant

Every seed is grown in isolation tents at our Nebraska farm, keeping the chance of cross-pollination to around 4%.
Growing tip: Compact, bushy plants that thrive in containers. The purple foliage makes this an outstanding ornamental even without the pods.
