Another gorgeous Brazilian heirloom. The Fidalgo Roxa is a rare variety with small, lantern shaped pods that ripen from dark blackish purple to pink and peach with purple overtones. The plants are compact and bushy with purple tinged foliage and stems. Pure eye candy.
The flavor is sweet and fruity with lemony notes and a mild to moderate heat that makes it perfect for fresh salsas, sauces, jams, and everyday cooking. Great in containers and small spaces because of the compact plant size.
