This caramel phenotype of the Jamaican Hot Chocolate showed up in our grow two years ago. We grew it out to see if it was stable and it came right back. Similar to the Jamaican Hot Chocolate with arguably the same heat, but the flavor is not quite as bold. It's growing on us though. A really great pepper with Scotch Bonnet level heat.
If you like Jamaican peppers and want something a little different from the standard Chocolate, the Caramel version offers a new color and a slightly different flavor profile with the same reliable Caribbean heat.
