Extreme heat in a bright, vibrant yellow. Most California Reaper pods are wrinkled with a pointed tail, though some plants throw off type pods with a different shape. The flavor is citrusy sweet and fruity.
Pods ripen from green to bright yellow. Pod size is not uniform: it varies from plant to plant and with growing conditions. The heat is intense and can hit the nose, throat, and chest. Still absolutely brutal.
