A cross between the ornamental Purple Tiger and the classic Jalapeño, and the result looks as cool as it sounds. The whole plant has purple tones running through it, from the stems to the foliage. Pods start out a deep purple and ripen to red, giving you a nice color show all season long.
The flavor is slightly sweet, fruity, and sometimes earthy with mild to medium heat. Works great in salsas, salads, and fresh eating. But it's also just a good-looking plant, it pulls double duty as an ornamental and a producer.
