We do not use your information to build advertising profiles or sell it to data brokers.
Who We Share It With
We share your information only with the service providers we need to run the store:
- Shopify: our e-commerce platform, which hosts our store and processes transactions. Shopify's privacy policy: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy
- Shopify Payments / Stripe: processes your credit card payment securely
- USPS: delivers your order (we share your shipping address and name)
- Klaviyo: our email marketing platform, which stores your email address and sends newsletters if you opted in. Klaviyo's privacy policy: https://www.klaviyo.com/legal/privacy
We may also share your information if required by law (for example, in response to a court order or subpoena).
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
Cookies
Our site uses cookies, which are small files stored on your device. These include:
- Essential cookies: required for the site to work (shopping cart, checkout, session management). These are set by Shopify and cannot be turned off.
- Analytics cookies: help us understand how visitors use the site (page views, traffic sources). You can disable these in your browser settings.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from completing a purchase.
Data Retention
We keep your order information for as long as needed to fulfill our business and legal obligations (tax records, shipping disputes, warranty claims). This is typically 7 years for financial records.
If you subscribed to our email list and unsubscribe, we will remove your email from our active mailing list. Some records may be retained in Klaviyo's suppression list to ensure we do not email you again.
If you want us to delete your personal data, contact us at the email below and we will process your request within 30 days.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Opt out of marketing emails at any time (every email has an unsubscribe link)
To exercise any of these rights, email us at atomicpepperseeds@gmail.com.
