The Peach Purple Ghost Scorpion is a stunning cross between a Ghost Pepper (Bhut Jolokia) and a Trinidad Scorpion, carrying a rare purple gene that shows up in the flesh. Cut one open and you'll find peach-gold skin wrapped around deep purple inner walls - it looks as wild as it tastes.

The flavor opens with a bright, fruity sweetness before the scorpion genetics kick in with a fast, sharp burn that climbs into a full body scorch. The scorpion parentage compresses the heat ramp, you don't get the slow build warning of a pure ghost pepper. It hits fast and it hits hard.

  • Heat Level: 800,000-1,200,000 SHU / Super Hot
  • Flavor Profile: Fruity, slightly floral, sweet with a sharp scorpion sting
  • Days to Maturity: 100-120 days from transplant
  • Difficulty: Medium to Hard
  • Seeds per Pack: 10+
  • Species: Capsicum chinense

The purple inner flesh comes from anthocyanin pigments, a recessive genetic trait carried in this specific cross. The wrinkled, contorted pods with scorpion style tails are highly productive and stay firm at full peach ripeness.

Every seed is grown in isolation tents at our Nebraska farm, keeping the chance of cross-pollination to around 4%.

Growing tip: Start indoors 10-12 weeks before your last frost, these need a long head start. Use a heat mat for germination (80-85°F soil temp) and transplant only after nighttime temps stay above 55°F. Full sun, at least 6 hours daily. Plants reach 3-4 feet tall and branch heavily once they get going.

Add to cart and grow something legendary this season.
