The White Hot Lime is a cross that originally showed up from Black Bhutlah seeds, discovered and developed by Justin White of White Hot Peppers. These pods ripen to a mustardy yellow and chartreuse color with a strong lime and citrus flavor that hits you before the heat does. Two phenotypes come out of this one: a greener chartreuse and a brighter yellow mustard. Both bring the heat.
- Heat Level: Super Hot (estimated similar to Mustard Moruga Scorpion range)
- Flavor Profile: Strong lime and citrus up front, floral notes underneath
- Days to Maturity: 120 to 150 days
- Difficulty: Advanced
- Seeds per Pack: 10+
- Species: Capsicum chinense
Every seed is grown in isolation at our Nebraska farm. Isolation growing greatly reduces the chance of cross pollination and keeps seed true to type, with roughly a 4 percent chance of a cross in the isolation tents.
Growing Tip: Expect some variation in pod shape and color between the two phenotypes. Start seeds indoors 8 to 10 weeks before your last frost. Germination needs consistent warmth at 78 to 85°F and can take 14 to 35 days.
Add to cart and grow something legendary this season.
